Booking & Deposits

To secure a wedding date with Jade, a non-refundable £100 deposit is taken, which is then deducted from the wedding day total. Your date is not secured until the deposit has been received.

Trials

Payment for the trial must be paid by bank transfer before the trial date. Failure to pay will result in the trial being postponed.

Payment

Following the trial and within 7 days, 100% of the wedding day fee minus the deposit is required. Once paid this is non-refundable. Failure to pay the outstanding wedding day balance may result in the booking being cancelled, and the full charge will be payable.

Cancellation by the Client

If you cancel Jade's services less than 4 weeks before your wedding day, you will incur a cancellation fee amounting to 75% of the full charge. No refund is offered in the case of cancellation less than two weeks before the wedding date, and the full charge will be payable.

Cancellation by Jade

In the unlikely event that Jade needs to amend or cancel a booking, she will notify you at the earliest opportunity and do everything possible to arrange a new artist to your satisfaction. Jade reserves the right, if necessary, to cancel a booking without liability, in which case a full refund will be given. This however is very unlikely and has not happened before at Hair & Makeup by Jade Victoria.

Unforeseen Delays

If unforeseen delays are experienced which are out of Jade's control, such as severe weather conditions, breakdown or serious illness, Jade will not be held liable. Every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made by Jade, however compensation will not be offered. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.

Travel

Jade is based in Windsor, Berkshire and works in all the surrounding counties. Travel is charged at 55p per mile after the first 15 miles and is worked out based on postal code. All car parking expenses and congestion charges incurred for both consultation and wedding days will be recharged to you at cost.

Allergies

If you have any known allergies, you must notify Jade in advance. Jade will take every care with her work but cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. It is the client's responsibility to inform Jade of any known allergies or skin sensitivities prior to the appointment.
